I’m proud to share the story behind Cardozo Contracting Ltd—a company built from the ground up with a love for craftsmanship, a respect for the land we live on, and a deep-rooted commitment to the people of the Kootenays.

Growing up surrounded by the wild beauty of southeastern British Columbia, I developed not just a sense of adventure, but a lasting respect for the value of hard work and the importance of building something that lasts. Well over a decade ago, I picked up a hammer and began a journey that would take me through every corner of the construction industry—from custom home building and commercial work to restorations, demolitions, and repairs.
What started as a trade became a calling. I fell in love with the process—taking raw materials and transforming them into functional, beautiful spaces that people can be proud of. I knew early on that I wanted to do more than just work in construction. I wanted to raise the standard. That’s when Cardozo Contracting was born.
This company isn’t just a business—it’s personal. As a husband and father, I bring the same level of care to our projects that I do to my home life. Every job we take on is a reflection of the values I live by: integrity, accountability, craftsmanship, and connection.
